Come learn about how to get involved with Seattle Neighborhood Greenways!
Seattle Neighborhood Greenways is powered by people like you who work to make our streets safer and more comfortable for people of every age, language, ethnicity, gender, race, ability, and income. We want all neighborhoods great places to walk, bike and live -- and we need YOU to help make this happen. We have locally organized chapters across the city that offer do-it-yourself advocacy opportunities, community-building events, leadership development, and more.
Come learn about Seattle Neighborhood Greenways, our local chapters, and best practices for being an effective advocate in your neighborhood.
Thursday, February 6, 5:30 - 7:00 pm
Seattle Impact Hub (Pioneer Square -- 220 2nd Ave S, Seattle WA 98104)
We will be in the 1st floor Board Room with some snacks and drinks.
This event is catered to new folks, but our regular volunteers are welcome and encouraged to join.
Seattle Impact Hall is located at the end of the 2nd Ave protected bike lanes and has ample bicycle parking in the basement. It is located within easy distance of downtown bus routes and the Pioneer Square Light Rail Station. The facility is wheelchair accessible, has all-gender bathrooms, and is dog-friendly. We unfortunately won't have child care for this event, but self-entertaining kids are always welcome (and if you email Clara@SeattleGreenways.org we can have some coloring and games available).
